The endorsement guideline sets four requirements. For each one, we show what AHPRA asks for, what you provide, and exactly what EndorseMe does with it.
Capture your professional activities however works best for you — voice, typing, photos, or quick-add.
Record reflections and case notes by voice — transcribed and added to your professional log
Quick text entry for notes, CPD activities, and case details
Snap certificates, letters, and documents for instant upload and storage
One-tap entry from any screen — captures organised for later review
For each requirement, we show what AHPRA expects, what you provide, and exactly how EndorseMe helps you organise it. AHPRA and the NMBA decide outcomes.
You must hold current general registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia, with no conditions on your registration relating to unprofessional conduct or performance.
The equivalent of three years' full-time experience (5,000 hours) at the clinical advanced practice level, within the past six years, counted back from the date the NMBA receives your complete application. Hours completed as part of your NP program cannot be counted. The evidence for this requirement is where most of the portfolio lives: statements of service, a CV that mirrors them, and proof the practice was at an advanced level.
Either completion of an NMBA-approved Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) program — Pathway 1 — or a program the NMBA assesses as substantially equivalent — Pathway 2. EndorseMe supports both, with clearly separated workspaces.
Your evidence must demonstrate the four NMBA Nurse Practitioner Standards for Practice (2021) and their twelve practice statements. This is what the whole portfolio is read against.
Around the four requirements sit the mechanics: the AENP-40 form, identity, certification, submission — and the CPD record that continues after endorsement.
After endorsement the journey continues: public system-ready, private practice-ready, business-ready, and giving back to the profession. The pathway page walks through all six stages and what EndorseMe does at each one.

EndorseMe supports your pathway and professional organisation. It does not decide eligibility, endorsement or submission outcomes — those decisions rest with AHPRA, the NMBA and your own professional judgement.
